TESTIMONIALS
Isaac possesses a magnificent lyric voice of considerable size and range, which is only complemented by a keen emotional and spiritual depth; one can sense that he is deeply connected to the songs that he sings, visualizing the story and emotion behind each note. I am also quite impressed by his superb diction when singing in foreign languages; it is rare to possess such great sensitivity to the different niches of various languages. Equally impressive about Isaac is his sheer enthusiasm, the inherent joy with which he approaches music.”

Isaac Ahn's online book, A Songbird's Symphony, is particularly valuable because the writer's voice is so kind and inviting.
It's the voice of a good friend who understands you. This is especially important when young musicians need to know their mistakes are all right and that everything a young musician does will help them to learn and grow. The book's gentle humor encourages young musicians to review the tricky material because they have a wise teacher guiding them every step of the way. Bravo! I've known Isaac for several years and it's a joy to be Isaac's teacher of English. Isaac is a very special leader when it comes to the classroom, bringing his optimism and positivity with him everywhere he goes. In the classroom, where students are working so hard every day, Isaac brings extra energy and spirit to class with him, sharing his love of music together with his love of learning. It's inspiring!"

Isaac developed and wrote a program (curriculum) called Share Your Music (SYM) Vocal and Music Enrichment Program (SYM Program), an innovative program that bases its core training on age, experience level, and music literacy of its students with the focus on teaching music as an interdisciplinary subject rather than as a one-dimensional one. He generously gave Songcatchers permission to utilize and implement the SYM Program, strengthening our potential to expand our reach as well as our programmatic offerings. To date, Isaac has been using the Program in his classes at Songcatchers and is proving to be an invaluable resource to the student population.

All of the training under Isaac's leadership in and outside of classrooms at Songcatchers has boosted my daughter's confidence. She now sings in pop- up events that are self-organized; performs in school talent shows; Performs in recitals. Additionally, she has been applying her leadership skills and confidence to other areas in her life and recently won her district’s (New Rochelle, NY) Art competition! I could not be happier as I continue to look forward to her future achievements.”

I have had the privilege of working closely with Isaac in both artistic and leadership capacities, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the most mature, intellectually curious, and multidimensionally gifted young individuals I have encountered. Isaac brings a rare combination of intellectual depth, creative excellence, leadership, and moral clarity. He is driven not by ego, but by purpose, and by a genuine desire to engage with the world thoughtfully and constructively. I have the highest level of confidence that Isaac will thrive and become an asset to any community he joins. Bravo Isaac!

A distinct outcome of Isaac's dedicated service is our students are more knowledgeable and better equipped musically and academically since participating in the Share Your Music (SYM) Vocal and Music Enrichment Program since 2024. All in all, our students are more confident as vocalists and scholars, each with a keen curiosity to learn more.”

Isaac has demonstrated remarkable leadership as a volunteer teacher, mentor, and curriculum developer. He has curated and implemented the Share Your Music (SYM) Vocal and Music Enrichment Program to teach K-8th grade students with engaging and age-appropriate activities. His dedication to our students is evident in the enthusiasm and participation he inspires in his classes. Isaac not only teaches new techniques and skills in music but also fosters an environment conducive to developing critical leadership within classes to help students support one another both in and outside of the classroom.”
